Rayess Bek

Wael Koudaih, better known as Rayess Bek, is a French-Lebanese composer and sound artist whose practice sits at the intersection of electronic music, archival research, and political storytelling. Emerging as one of the pioneering voices of Arab hip-hop, he has continually pushed beyond genre, using sound to excavate the cultural memory of the Arab world.

In this solo live set, Rayess Bek develops a distinctive artistic universe at the crossroads of Arab musical heritage and electronic culture. Drawing from the popular traditions of Bilad al-Sham, he crafts powerful and immersive electronic music. Driven by Dabkeh rhythms, reimagined melodies, and psychedelic soundscapes, the performance transforms the dancefloor into a space of collective celebration.
